Owen Family December Photos

 It's Utah.  It's December.  Where's all the snow?  Perhaps it was waiting for the Owen family photoshoot to happen.  Afterall, with 7 kids it's a little more comfortable to get smiles in above freezing temperatures.  A little warm sun and dry ground also make for less runny noses and less mud tracked around, just sayin'. 

So, right before Christmas, we got the opportunity to do a full family photo session with the Owens around their home.  I love their property.  It's so beautiful with all the tall trees and there were plenty of places to choose from, so we chose some favorite spots and went to town.  Perhaps what makes these photos extra special is that the oldest son would be leaving shortly after these were taken to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, meaning he'll be gone for 2 years.

We took individual photos of each of the kids, except Kaiden who had his photos done not too long ago.  I love seeing the different ways each of the kids resemble their parents.

Then we did one of the Dad and his boys, then one of Mom and her girl.

Every photoshoot has it's favorite moments.  The following photo was my fave.
