This expectant mother-to-be is my sister, so naturally, this photoshoot was wonderful. It was a hot summer day and we had only a little snippet of time before she needed to be back to tend to her other children, so we headed to a nearby park with trees to get photos of her growing baby bump.
The shade was a respite from the blistering sun that day. My sister is so beautiful! We did a few differing poses. My favorite one is the one below.
And because we can't do anything without playing around a bit, my sister gave me this yoga pose. Are you feeling the serenity now?
Next, you may notice a wardrobe change took place. She's awesome like that. She brought a dress and slipped it over her other clothes and just rolled up her pants so they wouldn't be seen. I do love how this next picture turned out.
To get the full effect of how big she was getting, we took these next shots.
And then we had to get a picture of how she was actually feeling being pregnant on this HOT day!
By this time we were headed back to the car. We only stopped momentarily to get in the shade for just a few minutes before the last trek in the sun to the car.
While there, we may have grabbed a couple scrub oak leaves and recreated a lovely picture of what a pregnant Greek goddess may have looked like.
Always a great time with my sister! I think it's time for another photoshoot with her.
